Got out for a half-day morning trip with Daniel and Garrett. I was a little nervous, due to the fact that it was Memorial day weekend and the impact that the crowd has on the water. On top of that, we got stuck in the middle of a giant rain/wind storm that left us soaking wet. Fortunately for us, the rain kept the crowds at home and the fish went to biting after the weather cleared. Daniel and Garret did a great job, catching easily over 50 fish on multiple baits. Eventually the crowd arrived and the traffic got hectic. We would put the boat on the trailer with sore thumbs and a feeling of accomplishment.
