Trip Summary

Met group at the St. Charles Bay boat ramp in Rockport, Texas. We made a little run to Mesquite Bay where we started off the afternoon in Bray Cove. Lots of bait present in Bray but no size to the fish. We continued working the shorelines up towards Ayres Dugout where we started seeing better fish & released a few oversize trout with the biggest one going 25". Customers kept a few for dinner.

Met my College Station (whoop) clients at Conn Brown boat ramp in Aransas Pass, Tx. Made a little trip to Shamrock Island in Corpus Christi bay. Picked up a few decent trout and then had 2 boats come up on us. Guys asked to go fornsome reds so we hopped over to Pink Shack Cove where it was non stop red action with a few bonus flounder. Launched out of Conn Brown in Aransas Pass,Tx. Had a SE wind of about 18-20 mph with gusts up to 30. Founds lots of bait along the Lydia Ann channel west shoreline. Live croaker was the ticket to a fun filled day on the water.
