Trip Summary
The snook bite gets better and better in the summer as they head each year to the inlet and along the beaches for their annual spawn. Snook season reopens September 1st with the same regulations ( 28-32" slot, 1 per person). While livebaiting for snook, expect to see jack crevelles, tarpon, Goliath grouper and cubera snapper also chewing.
Some really nice tripletail so far this year but the normally seen sheepshead and black drum has been slow.
Outside with calm seas a few miles offshore while livebaiting look for kingfish, mahi, sailfish, barracuda, bonita. On these trips I require calm seas of 2 foot or less and available on 3/4 and full day trips.
