This was a prime example of what makes June so exciting on the minneapolis musky lakes. It was a bright sunny day, the lake was packed with pleasure boaters and it was well before prime sunset hours. But, we hit some quiet water and worked some deeper weeds that had schools of crappies around. First, we had several curious muskies follow to the boat but didn't strike, this is always a bit boost in confidence going into the evening.
