Looks like no problem catching Redfish right now. Last trip out we caught 8 reds. Of that 7 keepers, but these pros were catch and release only. So the reds are still there! It was a day before flounder season reopened and they wanted to catch something big so I put them on Reds!

Well I'm back at it again after a long vacation compliments to Hurricane Harvey. I took Dr. Mike fishing last Thursday and he caught about a dozen Trout and several Reds. Fish due to the salinity of the water have migrated to the south side of the bays and this adds to a lot of excitement when you find them. The flounder have begun to start there migration patterns due more to the freshwater than the normal cold snaps and I expect this to continue and even get better as we move into late October and Early November. Temperatures are now in the 70's a bit chilly for us used to 90 degree water so it's time to break out the waders for those wade fishing. Tight Lines, Captain Terry

Went fishing with Todd and his two boys Trevor and Logan. Fished Galveston Channel and caught flounder,redfish,speckled trout,sand trout,croaker,sheepshead,ladyfish,catfish,ribbonfish,stingray,and even a crab. Stayed on fish for a solid 3 hours burning up 3 quarts of live shrimp. I think the boys had more fun catching the ribbonfish than anything else.
