be prepared to be chilly, then warm, then just right. Also be prepared that the weather can change at any given time- the water could be extra choppy and not a smooth ride. You may catch fish and I hope you do but it is not an absolute that you will catch and be able to keep what you catch. Enjoy the time it really is fun and beautiful.

Get a quality guide if you’re an amateur angler. My son has spent 5 days fishing and pulled a few bait fish and catfish, nothing worth having. Our guide Bubba had us pulling bait fish left and right as soon as we got there, and maybe a hour tops before hitting our first of two sharks. Made the day awesome and the trip super for my kids!

Consider time of year and time constraints. Snapper are further out during the warmer months, which means you're limited by federal limits instead of Texas limits on how many you catch. A longer trip adds more time for trawling for other fish if you have to go further out for snapper.

Easy Charter
It’s pretty hot so make sure to dress with plenty of coverage to prevent sunburns and bring plenty of drinks for hydration! We also preplanned and gave our kids Dramamine to prevent sea sickness as we werent sure how they would handle it and did not want to take any chances on ruining the trip.
