The morning started off overcast, we quickly got into some medium sized Mahi, hooking up with four at one time. As the day went on, the bite got a little slower, but steady. Then we hooked up with a double header of tuna on one rod, followed by a double header of mahi on one rod. The fish were biting consistently one about every 15 minutes. We landed 22 mahi and two tuna.

The fishing report: It was one of those days where patience was put to the test out on the water. The bites were slow, and the hours drifted by with little action to show for it. But just when we started to accept the quietness of the day, a bright splash of excitement broke the surface—a beautiful mahi-mahi!
