We are catching a little bit of everything recently as good weather and light winds have given us favorable conditions to work with. Flounder and Redfish has been a favorite target during the lower parts of the tide. We have benn catching both species on live minnows and mullet fished under float rigs. Deeper water and higher tides have been a good time to fish for sharks and Bull Redfish. Those fighters have been caught on cut mullet, whiting and pogys when we can find them. We "fish the tide" her meaning that we always want moving water to help us present our baits naturally. Don't be surprised if we say that the best tides will be in the afternoon.
