Steve had his son John up from Atlanta. Both excellent fishermen and although the bite was a little tough, their persistence paid off. Managed to boat several nice fish and relayed a ton of fishing tips, techniques and locations with them. Something I truly love to do. Friday the 13th was good luck as i made a couple new friends!

Present from his family for Craig who often mentioned catching walleye years ago. Brought along his wife of 35 years Katie. She was a little apprehensive at the dock, never having been in a bass boat before. Fited her with a fully automatic life jacket, promised her if she was uncomfortable at all we’d head directly back to the dock. Apprehension didn’t last long as she enjoyed the boat ride down to the spot. She got comfortable, we went over some basics and they both started catching fish! Katie got her first bass, first walleye and a couple more after that! Craig caught several including a nice walleye and a beautiful smallmouth! Must have done something right because they want to come back! Super nice couple! Great night of fishing!

Steve was the first client out for perch this fall. He really hammered them! We didn’t catch any of the heavy giant females, but scored plenty of beautiful fish. Persistence paid off while bass fishing and we finally located some quality fish! Great guy, new friend and long time Air Force veteran! Another great day on Erie!
