Fall Crappie
October 06, 2024 Harrison 7 photos

Trip Summary

Crappie are becoming more active due to cooler temperatures. Twenty-two (22) were landed today; unfortunately most were just short of 10 inches. Most were caught tightlining jigs and/or minnows over brushpiles in 20 - 25 FOW; a few were suspended, scattered fish taken with crankbaits with jigs trolled at 10-15 foot depths. A few bass were taken as well. Water temperatures were 74-75 degrees. Water visibilty was reduced due to stormwater runoff from the north.
