A few weeks ago, I received an inquiry for helping 10 or 11 guys get ready for thier annual trip to Topsail. Normally I limit charters to 4 people. I'm glad we continued to correspond and work something out. Drew booked a charter for THURSDAY Oct 10. The aftermath of Hurricane Milton slipped in some tropical storm winds that day so we rescheduled for Friday Morning. There was an entirely different ocean than the day before! The water was still running fast but we managed a pompano or 2 (and a big stick fish) and were able to share basic skills in beach reading, rigs, bait, gear and other tips that would help the gang to be successful on their own for the rest of the weekend.
