Miami Tarpon Fishing in the early evening and night around Miami Beach has been spectacular! No need for sunscreen, the evenings are cooler now in early summer. The tarpon are here in good numbers. As the sunsets the boat traffic thins out and the the city of Miami and south beach llights make a great back drop to what is about to to happen. My guest got hooked up to a very nice 80-90 Tarpon on our second drift. That tarpon took around and into government cut putting on a show with some spectacular jumps! He took us deep inside the bay on drag blistering runs! Since we released this fish inside near a bridge we decided to cast artificials. We quickly hooked up to another nice 80-90 Tarpon sending him in the high in the air He spat the hook so we headed back to the south beach Miami Tarpon Fishing spot off the beach. We put out another drift and on the second drift we hooked into a real monster !!! He took us deep into the backing on the initial run! The excitement didn't end as he put on spectacular jumps! As the summer continues the tarpon and snook will be around and this trip is a great way to avoid the heat of the day and enjoy the drag burning instead of your skin!
