Redfish

Flounder
Trip Summary
Trip Summary
Balmy sundrenched fall mornings can only mean one thing- Poling the flats seeking redfish in the clear shallow waters between Assateague and Chincoteague. Large schools of mixed sized fish can present opportunities for multiple hookups, with long slug-it-out fights. A true opportunity to catch a trophy.
Elsewhere about the islands, keeper sized flounder continue to bite, with seabass and porgies providing a fast bite on the bottom. Trout have started to move south and soon striped bass from up north will move in to replace them. We will continue to fish as far into the winter as weather permits, perhaps all the way through if the weather stays mild. Be sure to start booking those dates in April and May for spring flounder. See you on the water, Aloha!
