Nearshore Action Heating Up!
The nearshore bite for snook and redfish has been absolutely stellar when the weather has played nice. Calm conditions have provided anglers with nonstop action, as these species are feeding aggressively along the beaches and inlets. This is prime time to target them with live bait or artificials, as they’re on the hunt for an easy meal before winter fully sets in.
Big Black Drum Are on the Way!
With the arrival of cold fronts, we’re entering one of the most exciting times of year on Florida’s Space Coast. Giant black drum, some exceeding 40 pounds, will begin to show up in large numbers as they prepare to spawn. These fish are an angler’s dream, putting up incredible fights and offering unforgettable moments on the water. Target these beasts around deep channels, bridges, and structure using crabs, shrimp, or cut bait to entice a bite.
This is the time of year when patience and timing can pay off big. Some of the best fishing of the year is happening right now, so grab your gear and hit the water! Tight lines and see you out there!
