Trip Summary

It was a slow day of fishing. Not skipjacks at the surface. We saw few bird far away. When approaching we hooked a dorado. Unfortunately the hook missed the fish and it jumped away. We had some fresh bonitoes that we brought with us. We used pieces of bonito flesh to attract the doradoes. It worked. We caught 3 of them. We then caught a 4th one on the artificial lure. We were back to the lagoon with 4 nice fishes

We caught skipjacks on the last 2 trips. The schools of fish were a bit far from shore but we managed to come back with fishes on a 4 and a 5 hours morning trip.

We were out for a 5hours half day fishing trip. The weather was windy with some rain . After an hour out we cross by a FAD . A dorado came on our lures but the hook did not get it. We tried to catch it with pieces of bonito but no way. We then continued to deeper waters where we saw some schools of skipjacks. We caught one . On the way closer to shore we had a strike on the central rigger line. After a good fight a nice sailfish was onboard.

We were out for a 4hrs fishing trip. The weather was a bit windy. We had a nice strike on the central rigger line and caught a splendid dorado after a good fight. We came back at noon
