Trip Summary

The cooler weather has pushed some of the migratory fish into their typical winter patterns. Sailfish mixed with Mahi Mahi have been patrolling down the edge of the reef. Inland snook and tarpon have been biting both early and late in the day. It’s a great time of year to get out there and pull on some big fish.

The last few trips have produced some monster mutton snapper. Along with the snapper we’ve also had sailfish, blackfin tuna, mahi mahi and african pompano. Snook fishing inshore has also been really good.

Action packed half days with kids and their dads have been what i’ve been up to lately. These trips typically start with lots of live bait to get the fish fired up. Live bait is included on all my trips. Once you get them fired up you can expect to catch king mackerel, red grouper, yellowtail snapper, giant sharks, Spanish mackerel, bonito, and a handful of other species. Inshore snook and tarpon have also been very cooperative.
