Catching big smallmouth is pretty common at Running River. Its always nice to put a largemouth over 7 in the boat too. The river provided both on this day.

Jerry got a full day in and he was busy catching. We fished deep ledges for early post-spawners. We caught 50+ for the day with several 3lb+ fish. The numbers and size should only get better for the rest of May and June.

Got out for a full day trip with Todd from Jacksonville. The fish are pre-spawn, spawn, and post-spawn right now. We cranked square bills over grass flats with great success. Several 2-4lb fish with a 7+ getting off at the boat.
