We had beautiful conditions, our 6 hour morning charter. 1-2 foot seas light south east wind and north current. We started by trolling and caught 2 Spanish Mackerel, a King Mackerel, 4 Blackfin Tunas, and several Bonita. The troll bite slowed down, so we switched to some wreck and bottom fish, and after a slow start, we managed to catch a 38 LB Cobia! It was the biggest Cobia any of us had ever caught before!

Despite tough conditions (rain, wind, rough seas, and screaming current), we managed to get the job done! While trolling, we caught several Bonita, Blackfin Tuna, a Spanish Mackerel, a nice Baracuda, and an Atlantic Sailfish! Shortly after releasing the Sailfish, our charter guests wanted to try for something even bigger. So we set up near a wreck and put out the big baits. About 40 minutes later, the tip rod bent over, and we started doing battle. After another 30 minutes or so, we landed a big Sandbar Shark. Our guests were thrilled! Sometimes bad weather can make for amazing fishing!

We crushed it today! Caught a few king mackerel, mahi, spanish mackerel, bonita, and a giant baracuda trolling. Our client wanted to go shark fishing so we put out some big baits and ended up catching a huge Scalloped Hammerhead!
