Trip Summary

Last week we had an epic push of cobia. As the cobia come and go with each daily raise in water temps. We have been filling in the gaps with giant ocean flounder, black sea bass, redfish, blues and spanish. We love our ocean fishing this time of year !!

With the ongoing hot weather, we had a break and some wind changes and the fish got fired up. We have been catching, big balck sea bass, grouper, cobia, redfish, sharks and the big Spanish Mackerel finally showed up. With the next week of NE winds we will fall back inshore for Redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead amd black drum. Dont let the ripped up ocean scare you. We have a whole world of inshore fishing in the Cape Fear area.
