Made a quick 3hr trip today to test out some new gear. The weather was great and the beach crowd was lite. Target was sharks but that didn’t stop the Reddrum from eating. Finally hooked up with a nice shark and it put on a show going airborne a few times. Took this one home for the freezer.

This awesome family came down from Texarkana to enjoy sportsman paradise. They spent Saturday with a guide filling the cooler and Sunday on the beach hunting the big boys. It was a rough day, but they were patient while the kiddos played and swam. The catfish were out in full force and ate up 6 pounds of cut mullet before this healthy 39” Bull red found a piece and ripped some drag. Had 2 more good strikes but they got away. We also had something BIG make a run on the shark rod and broke off of 80# braid.

Todays 4 hour trip was amazing! Lots of different species caught. Catch of the day was a 63” shark caught on a redfish rig. My customers enjoyed a relaxing day of sun a sand while i kept the hooks baited and the reels turning. They went home with big smiles, sore arms and a cooler full of shark steaks.
