6/5-6/10 River Fishing Report ? Wow! The river has come alive in the past two weeks. First, the shrimp are not only here, but also in very good numbers for this time of year. Perfect size for bait with the mix of mediums and some large. The glass minnows and finger mullet are everywhere and has all the predator fish hungry. This time of year offers a variety of trips in the river targeting numerous species. ✅ Friday morning's charter was a kid's trip and just wanted to have fun catching anything. We were able to get on a good bite of channel cats and reds. ✅Friday evening's charter was targeting reds and landed 12 slot reds. ✅ Then, to really switch it, today I did a summertime Crappie (specs) trip catching over 30 large crappie.
