My brother, dad, and I were gifted an incredible inshore fishing adventure, a surprise from our amazing wives and mom, and it was hands down one of the best presents ever! We booked with Randy Filla, and from the get-go, we knew we were in for a fantastic time.

The morning started off a little slow, which is just part of fishing. But even with the slow start, Randy was an absolute blast. His personality was infectious, filled with hilarious stories and a wealth of fishing knowledge. He kept us entertained and engaged, making the initial lull feel like a fun part of the overall experience.

Then, the fishing gods smiled upon us! About two hours in, Randy put us right on top of schools of redfish and black drum. It was like a light switch flipped, and the action was non-stop! We were pulling in fish two and three at a time, with bent rods and screaming reels. The excitement was palpable, and the smiles on our faces were huge.

Adding to the thrill, a pod of dolphins showed up, playfully stalking the fish we were releasing. It was an amazing spectacle, witnessing these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat while we were reeling in our catches.

We ended the day with our limit of both redfish and black drum, a testament to Randy’s expertise and the sheer abundance of fish in the area. But more than the impressive catch, it was the incredible bonding experience with my brother and dad that made this trip truly unforgettable. We shared laughs, fished together, and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Randy was a great guide and a pleasure to fish with. My wife and I both caught trout and redfish and got to mark that off our lists, plus we have some good meals at home to look forward to! Randy is fun, very knowledgeable and a great teacher. We absolutely enjoyed our morning and would do it again.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a fishing trip with Randy Filla, and it was an unforgettable experience! I brought my son and his friend along, and we all had an amazing time. Randy’s expertise and knowledge of the waters were evident from the start. We managed to limit out on trout, which was incredible, and we also caught skipjack, flatheads, and even one keeper redfish.

Randy was not only professional but also patient and engaging, especially with the kids. He ensured everyone had a great time and learned a lot about fishing. His boat and gear were top-notch, and he went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable.

I scheduled a trip for me and my two kids (Daughter 16 / Son 13)with Captain Randy based solely upon positive reviews that I read. I am so happy that I did. I really wanted to carch redfish but weren’t expecting a lot because it’s the middle of July. The Captain put us on them immediately. The kids and I had a blast. We brought home 7 reds and 4 trout. Captain Randy is a great guy. He was so patient with us and helped us so much. When I come back, I will book with him again without hesitation. Thank you again.

Randy was excellent. The day of the trip the winds didn’t cooperate but he worked his but off and putt us on some spotted trout and redfish. We had an adult on the trip with special needs (handicapped) Randy went above and beyond and help him get two fish in the boat. I was very impressed with Randy’s willingness to go the extra mile in this regard. Boat and equipment were top notch and conversation was good.  Would defiantly recommend and will be back!  Great trip
