It was fabulous! Private charter for two. 40ft boat. We felt like Mr. Thurston III and Mrs. Howell going on a 6-hour tour to Gilliganโs Island, waving at all the other packed boats. Our captain/mate team knew what they were doingโhands down. They had at least 40-50 rods and reels with live bait which they put on the hooks at each of the stops. While Mrs. Howell went to talk up/view the digital GPS fishfinder radar/sonar displays in the captainโs quarters, I watched the wake from the stern with a beer and a smoke WOO-HOO! Bring your own food, water, booze. When the engine slowed, it was showtime! Captain Jason and Sean explained everything, baited the hooks, and set up the lines. Amazing It was very exciting when Mrs. Howell snagged the first Bass! Huge. My first didnโt meet state requirements, and they measured every fish netted from the water. Mr . Howell eventually caught two big ones, including the biggest. TWO FISH PER PERSON. The captain and first mate were diligent every step of the way and were fascinatingly instructing us how to reel them in with left-handed reels when we were both right-handed. Anyway, they are 5 stars worthy of getting your $660. Be aware, on the way back, the stop with biting fish is to replenish bait for the next tour, we didnโt know that. AND if your group tips less than 20%, it will be brought to your attention by the boat crew. Thurston III gave a $100 cash tip, but they told Mrs. Howell we owed $20 more. Great experience and highly recommended tour, wish we could have brought the family dog!!! Dine at the dock seafood restaurant, itโs great too!

Had a great opening day trip with MD Hunting and Fishing. We got a late start due to some bizarre tide movement, but the captain made sure we still got our full day of fishing in. We ended up landing 3 trophy rockfish, the smallest of which was 38โ. His boat is immaculate and very well maintained and very large, so there is no climbing over top of each other to real in your catch. You can absolutely see the pride in ownership. Overall a 10/10 experience and I will absolutely be booking with them again.

We had a great time with Sam and his Crew! The weather and extremely low tides from a previous night of Gale North West winds created an anomaly. It through us for a brief loop but we rebounded and had a great opening day of fishing. We really appreciate Sam and their company. We look forward to seeing them aboard The Marylander again soon!
Very knowledgeable and respectful crews. We have a party of 7, and we all are going home with a 5 pound rock fish. The captainโs fishing preparation is our key to success.
We had a great time with Steven and his wedding party aboard The Marylander! We hope they enjoy their fish and wish the future groom and his bride all the best! We hope to see you again soon!
Captain Jason and his crew were amazing. We had 2 kids aged 9 and they could not have had a better experience. The boat is perfect. Caught our limit in 2 hours!!!
Thank you for fishing with us Juan aboard The Marylander! We had a great time with your family and friends! We hope to see you again soon!
Capt. Jason and Shane made us so welcome on the boat. They were patient with our inexperience and explained the different uses of the rods and fish behavior which was of added interest when visiting different parts of the bay. We had a wonderful tour from the base of the Bay Bridge, viewing the anchored tankers, and finishing at Thomas Point Lighthouse. We also caught some delicious perch! Thank you for a very satisfying trip. Ellen, Charlotte and Anne
