Had a great opening day trip with MD Hunting and Fishing. We got a late start due to some bizarre tide movement, but the captain made sure we still got our full day of fishing in. We ended up landing 3 trophy rockfish, the smallest of which was 38”. His boat is immaculate and very well maintained and very large, so there is no climbing over top of each other to real in your catch. You can absolutely see the pride in ownership. We had a great time with Sam and his Crew! The weather and extremely low tides from a previous night of Gale North West winds created an anomaly. It through us for a brief loop but we rebounded and had a great opening day of fishing. We really appreciate Sam and their company. We look forward to seeing them aboard The Marylander again soon!

The experience with Captain Jason, his crew, and boat was excellent from beginning to end. He was proactive on calling me to arrive earlier due to weather forecast for a rainy afternoon. Also, when we arrived, the boat, bait, and gear was all prepared and ready to go. They gave myself and my children, the one on one attention that we expected so it was really worth it. You won’t be disappointed! Highest recommendation.

Captain jason and first mate alex were amazing. i wouldn’t recommend another charter, our trip was a great experience and we caught plenty of fish to take home. Captain jason even stayed in the water to make sure we all got a fish on our line. One of the best charter boats and crew out there cant wait to go again 👍🏼

We had an excellent time with our friends and specially with my son, it was his first fishing trip and he had a great time! Jason, the captain and Steve, his helper, were very attentive and knowledgeable, they were a big help for my son and I really appreciate it! Even though it wasn’t the greatest time for fishing, we still caught nice size fish and the crew definitely made our experience 10 times better! Will definitely book this ship again!
