Absolutely great day with Hook up fishing charter, Captain Glenn was very experienced and had amazing boat, bait, and tackle Unfortunately the weather was not the best but captain Glenn made the experience enjoyable. Recommend the trip for families, the skipper was excellent with the kids. The weather conditions weren’t great for fishing, the captain was very knowledgeable and spent time choosing various baits and fishing spots to ensure everyone caught multiple fish varieties. I will go again next time in the area.

Fishing runs in Captain Shawry’s blood. Skill, knowledge, friendly, patient and funny, plus a great boat. He adjusts his trip to suit those on board. Recommend ++

Shawry&Julie met us us down at the boat ramp and to say we were impressed with the welcome and boat is an understatement as Shawry&Julie put us on the the fish straight away and every honey hole we fished at produced Hollywood fish.We are coming back again next year as would not fish with anyone but Hook Up(Shawry&Julie every time.So professional and least heaps about fishing Port Douglas.We are stoked🎣🎣🎣

We were in Port Douglas for a family function, managed to sneak away for a boys outing and very glad we booked with Hook Up Fishing Charters. Not an experienced group but the captain was very helpful, great boat and knowledge. Even with our lack of experience, all had an awesome day and we managed to go home with a beautiful feed (including a few coral trout).
