My wife and I fished earlier this week in Marathon and had so much fun we decided to go again in Key West.  Captain Ryan’s Live Action Sportfishing website looked awesome, and we were thrilled to get scheduled with a few days’ notice.
Captain Ryan explained that he was booked for that day, so we went with his employee/partner Captain Jagger. What a most delightful guide and person!
Captain Jagger is polite, energetic, patient, joyful and extremely knowledgeable.  He went out of his way to make sure we were happy with every aspect of our trip, and he was especially encouraging to my wife, who is a novice in the sport.
And to top it off, we caught a bunch of fish! 
Overall, simply a 5 star experience! We completely enjoyed the beautiful weather, the sleek and comfortable 24’ boat, Captain Jagger’s servant heart and the tasty fresh fish cooked at the Hurricane Hole marina restaurant minutes later.  Thank you so much, we can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I went out with Capt. Justin on a 4 hour inshore morning trip.  He did a great job putting us on snapper early and after we had caught enough we wanted to try and catch a Tarpon.  Both my wife and I hooked into a Tarpon at the same time and were both able to land them.  The trip was fantastic and Capt. Justin was great.  I would highly recommend him.

Excellent trip! Captain Ryan was amazing! Clean boat, well equipped with good tackle. He put us right on the fish, lines stayed tight nearly the whole trip. Very knowledgeable, attentive and very relaxed. Captain Ryan not only put you on the fish but also let you fish, he is not pushy and very helpful! We caught a lot of fish! Delicious fish! We will definitely be booking with Captain Ryan again!

This was the first fishing excursion of any kind my husband and I have done, and it definitely won’t be our last! Captain Jagger was friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. We were able to fish for some “teethy critters” reeling in an 8 foot lemon shark to start the day, as well as catch enough snappers to bring back for dinner. For someone with minimal fishing experience, I felt like a pro by the end! I would definitely give this experience a 10/10!

Captain fish bagger Jagger put us on the Tarpon! Captain Jagger is (1) obsessed with fishing, (2) hard-working, (3) considerate, (4) experienced, (5) full of energy, and (6) will sacrifice everything to make sure you and the boys have a good time and reel in a HOG!

We hit the back country for some tarpon fishing and Jagger put us on a tarpon the size of Shaquille O’Neal within the first 10 minutes of rigging up. Shortly after landing the first fish, several boats showed up next to us and tried to get in on the action as they hadn’t had a bite all morning! (rookies).

15 minutes later, we hooked into Tarpon #2 that fought harder than Mike Tyson in round 12. This 2nd fish was all gas no brakes. All of the other boats next to us still hadn’t hooked into anything yet and we were on fish #2! After about a 20 minute fight and an acrobat show, it broke water and soared about 8 ft in the air then spat the hook. This fish gave us the fight of a lifetime! Meanwhile, the jealousy from the other spectating captains was so thick you could cut it with a knife. (If I was a bettin’ man, i’d say that the other boats had 2 star captains that were hungover from partying the night before) Over the next couple of hours Jagger continued to put us on some ‘cuda, a monster sting ray (that might have been the one that killed Steve Irwin TBH), and a beautiful mutton snapper.

This was by far the best experience i’ve ever had fishing, all within 4 hours! Jagger kindly asked us if we wanted to extend the trip by a couple hours but unfortunately we had to catch a flight. Jagger went way out of his way to make sure we had a blast. Next time I come down to Key West I won’t even think of stepping foot on a fishing boat unless the captains name is Jagger.
