We booked a trip for my eight year oldโs 8th birthday on September 27th, 2025. Kevin was one of the best fishing guides that weโve ever been with. Starting from the very beginning he even suggested we park in a different parking spot based on the crowd levels and the possibility of being blocked in. He explained that they were short handed so he had to first mate and captain the boat for us.
Kevin was personable, knowledgeable and put us right on the fish. I estimate that we caught around 60-70 fish with dozens of keepers. He tailored the trip and time to allow us to try for Sea Bass and Flounder and did an excellent job driving the boat, rigging the poles, cutting bait and taking care of all of us on the trip.
There was an issue where a line got snagged on the bottom and the pole snapped, sending 3/4 of the pole into the ocean. This information was relayed to the business owner who initially charged $120 for the loss of the road. We contacted the owner who replied in a timely manner and explained that nothing negligent occurred to cause the rod to break. This business owner agreed to refund the $120 and by doing that heโs gained a customer for life. It goes a long way for an owner to hear a complaint and make it right.
I will send anyone looking for a fishing trip to Chasinโ Tides and my family will definitely book with them again in the future. Thanks for a great trip and excellent customer service.

Initially had booked a 4-hour near shore trolling trip but were open to going wherever the fish were. Kevin urged us to do a 6-hour wreck trip because of reports the black sea bass were biting. Decided to go for it and it was the right decision! Boat of 6 of us were pulling them up 2 at time. Ended up with over 60+ fish boxed. During the trip we seen dolphins, a shark, a giant sea turtle, squid, and a Cobia too.
All in all it was a great trip but the work ethic of Kevin and Jeff was the stand out feature. With 6 of us on board slamming fish they were working hard the entire time! Never stopped keeping us fishing it was impressive. Thanks again!

My group of 6 guys all caught fish. Lots of seabass and 2 sharks. Even though most of us got sick the crew of chase and Jeff were great. They worked extremely hard to make sure we got fish on deck. Definitely one of the best charter experiences Iโve ever had i will be booking them again. Extra shootout to Jeff the first mate he was the hardest working mate Iโve ever seen super nice guy and was willing to talk and share experiences with us it was like hanging out with some old friends on chasin tides.

Kevin and Malachi took me and my 13 year old son out into the ocean and into the bay.ย You could tell they had a lot of hours on that boat and weโre in good command and safe. We caught fish in both places and even a stingray, which we returned to the bay.ย They were good guys, Kevin was very passionate about fishing which was cool. They knew all the tricks and weโre very knowledgeable and encouraging. Great experience over all.ย We will be back!
Had a fantastic time. Crew was knowledgeable and helpful. We let them know our expectations and they were swiftly met! Got our limit on one species with the intent to fill the freezer. Saw pods of dolphins on the way in and out. Looked for the ever elusive Cobia. Sea bass, flounder and moon fish are now settled into other forever homes! Will be booking and requesting captain Kevin and first mate Jeff again!
