Captain Dan communicated well from when our trip was booked to the day of our charter. During the charter Dan and his deckhand Lucas interacted well and made us feel comfortable and at home. They put us on the fish all day, and when fishing slowed down, Captain Dan swapped fishing setup with a little over an hour of the charter left. The quick change added a couple more fish to the box. Overall an awesome trip for my and I. For sure will be back next year, and maybe this summer if I can squeeze it in,

Anyone wanting to experience Lake Erie Walleye Fishing at its finest. just book a trip with DD Rod Father. You wonโt be disappointed. Love the pictures and stories of the trip he posts on Facebook after the trip. Two day trip provided limits on both days not counting the ones that got off plus the small throwbacks. We were constantly on fish with multiple hookups many trips. Thanks again Dan.
Had the privilege to go out on Lake Erie for a surprise birthday fishing trip. With this being my first chartered trip I really didnโt know what to expect and was actually a little nervous. Captain Dan and his first mate Nate had us on fish within a half hour. The first one I reeled in was a 6.5 LB 27 inch monster walleye and the biggest catch of my life so far. Couldnโt ask for a nicer day on the water. Captain Dan is down to earth, certainly knows his fishing and treated us first class from start to finish. The next time I take a chartered fishing trip I will definitely be giving D.D. Rod Father Sport Fishing a call. Thanks again Dan for the awesome experience.

Birthday surprises are the best!
Took my two sons on a walleye trip from Erie PA. Had a great time. Caught our limits and enjoyed a beautiful day on the lake. He knew where to find the fish and they were biting. My boys really enjoyed it too. Captain Dan made a good coach to help teach how to fish.
Captain Dan put us on the fish! My sons and I have never been walleye fishing. Dan and his mate, Sean, were helpful and educational.ย We learned a lot about the lake and caught a bunch of walleye.ย Most of em were 24โ or bigger. And - they cleaned our fish for us!ย That is a big deal!ย Took them 20 minutes.ย Would have taken us 2 hrs.ย
