We had a great time fishing with a wonderful captain! He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We caught some nice fish! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Would love to do again sometime.

Capt. Champ is a a true believer in trying to do the right thing.ย Our morning 4 hour fishing trip was overcome by high winds and rainstorms that affected over half of our scheduled charter.ย He made every effort to accommodate and find his fishing spots that he has marked in various locations near Perry around the rain storms that came and went thru the morning.ย Though we only caught a couple of keepers, Capt. Champ maintained a positive attitude and we had a fun and enjoyable experience.ย I would definitely recommend Salty Tails for a fishing trip with the Louisiana hospitality of Capt. Champ.

Had an awesome time with Capt Champ. The bite was tough with the heat but managed some fish and had an awesome time on the water. Will definitely be calling capt Champ in the fall.

Wow, he was the best. He took us to several spots and used different methods. We fished for trout, reds and bass. A good time was had by all.
It was a tough day fishing today. But I took this picture because its two sisters that took their 90 year old dad fishing. We had a great time laughing and smiling. What a blessing.ย I Love taking people fishing.
