We had a fantastic trip with Shane on a hot afternoon July trip last week. Fishing started slow but Shane worked hard to find the fish and we went home with an excellent catch. Perfect boat for fishing the bay with tons of room to move around. I highly recommend and we will be back next year! Thanks Shane !
We were so engaged and had so much fun fishing with Capt. Shane. What a gentleman as well as being a real expert in bringing out the best in a very nice mess of walleye. We had to work at it with him to do so well but he did the most. He was very well prepared and very organized. He’s ready bridge the gap between whatever the fish want and what the people want. He recommended a great restaurant where we could have some of our fresh catch prepared and served as the centerpiece of a fine meal. When the was a possibility of a small glitch in the process he showed up minutes later to be sure things went well for us. Outstanding follow up! So, yes we recommend Shane Dietrich and the Gypsea for great walleye fishing on Saginaw Bay.
