Had a good time with Gabriel.  Fishing was not as we had hoped but that’s why its called fishing and not catching.  Water was real murky and there was a lot of debris floating in it from recent storms.  We caught six small skipjacks so we didn’t get skunked.

While we did not catch any fish i would highly recommend Gilbert. He did his best to put us on fish it was just not the day for catching. Will book again.

Excellent communication before our trip. Gabriel was waiting for us when we arrived and we left the dock on time. We trolled for marlin and mahi first, but no hookups so he took us on a tour of the caves, which wasn’t part of the deal so that was a bonus. Then we trolled in shallow water and caught a jack crevalle and a mahi mahi. Such a fun day. Thank you, Gabriel and Angel! We’ll be back!

We had an awesome time with Nikolai. Started the day by immediately hooking into a frenzy of Mahi Mahi. Next, found ourselves on an exclusive beach at a little cafe, eating the freshest of fish tacos. We ended the day snorkeling in caves, diving with all kinds of beautiful fish. Can’t beat it.

Gabriel was a really cool guy who knows a TON about fishing in Puerto Vallarta.  Our only complaint was only being able to book a 4 hour time slot (our time restriction, not his).  Wish we could have done 8 hours for some bigger game.  Still, the first hour or so we hardly got a bite and Gabriel suggested we try some other tactics and boom, the fish started hitting like crazy.  We caught 10 and lost 3 on top of that.  When we caught our fill we went to the water caves and did a bit of snorkeling.  To finish up, Gabriel knows the owners of a restaurant right by the pier and they grilled up the fish for lunch.  Seriously, I don’t know how that place makes any money.  They grilled up 4 plates of fish, two rounds of margaritas for 3 people, and chips with salsa and guacamole for $28.  That was a steal and delicious.  Fishing with Gabriel was well worth the price and the highlight of our Mexican Riviera Cruise.
