I flew my son from Ohio to Florida for a 13th birthday present. A weekend at the beach and a charter fishing trip. It was a chilly weekend for Florida, and a little windy, providing some choppy currents. Captain Juan knew where to go to get us on the fish and although not as much was biting as summer time, we still caught lots of fish! We are used to freshwater fishing and Captain Juan was able to teach us the ropes and new techniques of fishing in the big blue. My son learned a lot and we had a great time. We took our sheepshead and mangrove snapper to a restaurant to cook up for us and had more dinner than we could even finish! He was on time, professional, and was very experienced at doing this. Would highly recommend booking with Captain Juan! We will be back some time again. Hopefully in warmer weather. :)

Our trip was fantastic!  Captain Juan put us on some snapper right away. Then we went after some reds, which were not cooperating. He took us over to a bridge and we got back on snapper and grouper ( had to release the grouper). We caught plenty of fish. I will call Captain Juan when we come back for sure!  You won’t regret going out with him!

We have two kiddos. One loves fishing, the other one dibbles and dabbles lol! Capt. Juan, was very patient with them. If one wanted to fish he would help/coach them. If one didn’t, he was cool with that too! The weather was super funky the day of our trip so we didn’t catch much. However, captain Juan invited us back for a make up session! We know he didn’t have to do that and are very grateful ☺️

Best experience on the water. Put us on some Big fish and also schools where everyone caught some. Would recommend Capt. Juan for your next fishing adventure. Will definitely fish with Glo#1 charters again. THANKS Capt.

Capt Juan Herndon, hosted me and my group of friends that came in from out of town for a fishing trip. The communication was great from the very beginning and he made sure to answer our questions and let us know everything we needed before we went out.
We met him at the marina on time and within 10 mins of heading out we already had our first fish in the boat. He kept us on top of fish for the entire half day trip and made the whole experience enjoyable by taking great care of us.
I’m already looking at the calendar to book our next trip and would highly encourage anyone who’s considering a great day of fishing on the bay to do the same. Capt Juan was simply awesome! Thank you!
