It was great weather and a good boat ride (5 of us).ย Rob warned us that it was a bit early with the waters around 50 degrees there might not be anything biting.ย Because the grandkids were looking forward to our trip from Michigan we decided to do it inspite of the unlikelyhood of catching anything.
We did see several dolphins multiple times and spotted a couple/few game fish.
Shipmate Glen setup the 5 lines and kept our attention as we searched for dinner!ย We learned a lot from Glen about the fishing, shoreline points of interest, and a myriad of maritime stories.

Crew was transparent beforehand that fishing was not great due to cold weather still. However, they tried their best to find some for us. Either way, we had a fun experience - Glenn and Andrew were great. We will be back when fishing season heats up!
Captain Greg and mate Bryan were great. A hurricane came by earlier in the week which wasnโt ideal for fishing. We were warned that it probably wasnโt going to be great. We decided to go out anyways. We all got to reel in multiple fish, just not all legal size. With two newbies, one being my 80 year old uncle who has cancer, and hasnโt been on ship since his time in the Navy, we as a group chose to go out. He was excited about doing it and he actually caught the biggest fish. I would book with them again and recommend the boat to anyone.

The crew was great and we had an amazing time! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great time out on the water!
The boat is absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. The owner was also very easy to communicate with and responsive leading up to our trip. While the owner did mention beforehand that the fishing had been slow recently due to water temperatures, the actual experience was still a bit disappointing. We spent two hours essentially riding around with no luck, and the combination of the diesel fumes and the rocking of the ship for that long became quite nauseating for the group. In hindsight, knowing the chances were that low, we would have much preferred to just anchor in a nice spot and enjoy the views from the beautiful boat rather than trolling through the fumes. Itโs a great vessel and a professional operation, but the way the โslowโ day was managed didnโt quite hit the mark for us.
