This was a great adventure! Captain Ohmar and Captain Tyler were great! We caught 3 barracuda. It was a beautiful day with perfect weather.

We had mixed feelings about this trip. It started off pretty frustrating when the owner of the boat (who we thought we were going with) showed up to collect payment. The owner never spoke with us at all, he had his significant other collect payment and left. The captain and deckhand hardly spoke to us for the majority of the 6 hour trip. Only towards the end did they finally start speaking. They did feed us fruit and chicken and tuna wraps.

They also did not clean our fish. And when your on vacation in a foreign country,,, you don’t really have the proper tools to do this yourself.

They pointed us in the direction of a local spot where we could have the fish cleaned. But when we traveled there, it looked like a near homeless encampment where the locals cleaned your fish for a fee, and you had to barter with them on the price.

The family and I go with a number of guides, and we wish we would have chosen differently this time around.

Did a 6hr trip for our honeymoon with Capt Chris and had a perfect time. Showed up and the marina had some delays, so Chris very generously gave us an additional hour for the trouble. We found schools of bait and tuna within an hour of our trip starting. Got hooked on a double of blackfin tuna and we were thrilled. We were hoping for some wahoo or mahi mahi, but no luck. Spent a good amount of time enjoying the view and soaking up some rays. Chris was Adament to get us on some big fish while we just enjoyed our time on the water. We were just wrapping up out time trolling when hooked into a wahoo, but lost it on the reel in. Switched over to reef fishing after trying to refind that school and my wife had a great time. We both caught fish left and right, some big, some small. Chris taught us what he could about each fish we caught. We tied on some of the tuna while he was cleaning our catch and caught a 5’ reef shark. Chris helped us on the 15min fight, guiding us and helping where needed. We both were exhausted once the shark finally came to the surface and we got some pictures. Chris released the shark without issue and we both sat and relaxed while Chris tidied up the boat and drove us in. He recommended a great spot to have our fish cooked up for us at the Green Parrot. It was only once we got to the dock that we realized he had clients after us, meaning that the extra hour he gave us could have cost him the satisfaction of his next party, but he intended to make it right for us. End of the day, my wife and I were beyond thrilled with how the trip went and how attentive, respectful, and helpful Chris was. Looking forward to booking again sometime.

We came in on Royal Caribbean adventure of the seas it was really easy to find the marina from the ship and super close. We trolled all day which is what I wanted and even though it was a slow day catching fish it was still a good experience and would definitely book again in the future. Trolling is hit or miss and I was more worried about catching a trophy fish vs a bunch of small fish. It was still a great day on the water and enjoyed learning more about the Bahamian fishery.
