Took my wife and another couple fishing. It was a good experience but maybe a little too many people on the boat. Crew couldn’t keep up with ongoing needs of the passengers. But it wasn’t a bad experience. You will catch fish if you follow instructions. Crew was nice! Language was a little salty!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with GULFSTREAM lV PARTY BOAT!!!!! My party made up half the boat spending a lot of money with them. I have been on plenty of charger fishing boats and I have NEVER had such a horrible time. The deck hand Ryan was a complete jerk speaking to not only myself and my children like we were stupid and had smart remarks to just about everything anyone said. Thank goodness we knew how to fish and take off our fish ourselves because he could’ve cared less about anyone not in the back of the boat near him. He also never refilled our bait. I would also not recommend putting money toward the Ryan’s Biggest Fish contest winning a pot of $5 each person on the boat. This was also a big waste of money. I never was clear on how many people opted in on the contest and how much was truly given to the “winner “. The whole crew definitely catered to people that were obviously “locals” that came aboard for a free trip. The other deck hands spent their time fishiing taking away from the actual paying customers. The Captain was very nice but only stopped at one spot which was mostly over rocks only catching a few fish. If you want to have a good time and be treated decently I would recommend a diffent charter. The last time I was in Key West I used Tortugas and they were the same price and great! They were running around like crazy to everyone on board. They made sure everyone had bait through out the entire trip. They made sure everyone was having a great time catching lots of fish at 3 different fishing spots. They were all extremely nice and funny! I didn’t choose them this time because they were booked for obvious reasons also we saw on this website the possible fish we could catch and thought this one had more of a variety. This Charter was extremely unprofessional!!!!

Hardly any fish were caught.  We didn’t go to the same areas in the past.  I think because they were further away and that uses more fuel.  The snapper are spawning yet we hardly caught any as a boat!
