We’ve done at least 6-8 fishing charters in the last few years and this was easily the best. Everyone was on time. Communication was excellent. We were on the fish early and often. We went home completely satisfied and planning to come back soon with our sons.
Thank you very much David,
Hope to see you back on the island soon
Best regards

We had a tough day on the water, 6 hours and no luck, but the crew never gave up kept switching bait, and lures. The lunch and snacks where great, tons of beverages. The crew kept up beat attitude, and where great to be around!
Thank you Jacob,
Yes, it was a tough day; we hope to take you out again on your next trip.

Well to start the boat is old, slow, and loud. Their is no comfortable place to sit while you wait. Their was 4 of us and 2 of us had to sit on a wobbly cooler the whole time. The deck hand did work his butt off changing baits and checking lines for sea grass. Just felt the captain really didn’t have any good spots to go to. We hung out for 4.5 hours and finally told them we had enough. We did catch 2 wahoo so it wasn’t a complete waste of time. The equipment, rods and reels l, were sub par. I have to admit that I was surprised because all the other reviews where good. We had to take a cab to the marina from the cruise ship dock, that wasn’t bad but they did drop us off a ways from the dock and my 75 year old dad has issue walking all that way. We thought they were going to help us get a ride back bust when I asked they just pointed us in the same direction we walked earlier and said we need to flag our own cab. Again same issue with my dad. I will not be booking another trip with this outfit but I will continue to use Fishingbooker as I have had several great trip through them One thing I did notice that most of the boats in the marina was old and in need of upkeep and upgrades.

Hi Brandy,
We are really sorry you feel that way.
The boat model is old, yes, but the boat just came back into water in January after maintenance, so fiberglass/gel coat finishes are new.
Gear…..Penn/Shimano, outriggers, downrigger, 5 lines in the water, brand new line in the reels, ballyhoo and artificial
The boat is not slow, it’s the trolling speed, what has worked for us in the past. Cozumel has this big drop off very close, so we are able to start fishing just a few minutes after leaving the marina.
Unfortunately, when fishing for big game, there are no structures, we have to follow the current, look for sea weed lines, birds, etc We covered a lot of space, went all the way to the south end, talked to other boats to see how they were doing, worked really hard changing, mixing and clearing the baits, but the action was slow that day.
Still, getting 2 wahoos it’s not what we would call a bad job, but I guess it all depends on the perspective. Most of other boats struck out that day. When choosing to go out for Big game, this is a possibility.
We are very sorry you had to walk from the parking lot to the boat, the marina just made changes and it’s not allowing taxis all the way into the docks. It’s something we are fighting with them and hope it changes back soon.
We are also taking note on the sitting on the cooler, we’ll move it from where it is now and replace it with a bench with cushions for future clients.
Yes, most of the boats in the marina are old models, it’s a matter of costs and our access to them, but also most of us work hard to maintain them in the best conditions possible. On the good hand, that also makes prices very accessible, having a hundreds of thousands dollar boat would make a fishing charter 3 or 4 times more expensive than what it is now.
Thank you for your visit

Pedro wasn’t our captain, but I believe he is the boat owner and is very nice and great at communication. I had booked a 6 hour trip but since there was a fishing tournament going on and his crew wanted to compete we got to stay out longer. We had discussed being in the tournament with him prior, but didn’t feel comfortable with the tournament rules and ability to collect on prizes. Pedro understood and registered us as part of our trip so I am very grateful for that. The crew was very nice. Agusto was one of the best fisherman I have ever fished with and Victor was also very good. Hector was hilarious and made things fun and Freddie is a captain in training and needs more time but with mentors like he has I believe he will be good. This was a once in a lifetime experience and even though I don’t agree with the route we took and not bringing our catch to weigh in I still think this is one of the best Cozumel charters. Going with Chichi’s charters for two days made me really wish I had gone all 3 days with this group.

Thank you Cory,
The big tournament is always around the same dates in May (weekend) and there are other small ones we can participate in.
Maybe next year you can come and be able to plan accordingly; if it is the case, send me a message/call early April so that we can work something out.
And yes, I totally agree that Victor and Augusto are one of the best crews out there.
