Pedro wasn’t our captain, but I believe he is the boat owner and is very nice and great at communication. I had booked a 6 hour trip but since there was a fishing tournament going on and his crew wanted to compete we got to stay out longer. We had discussed being in the tournament with him prior, but didn’t feel comfortable with the tournament rules and ability to collect on prizes. Pedro understood and registered us as part of our trip so I am very grateful for that. The crew was very nice. Agusto was one of the best fisherman I have ever fished with and Victor was also very good. Hector was hilarious and made things fun and Freddie is a captain in training and needs more time but with mentors like he has I believe he will be good. This was a once in a lifetime experience and even though I don’t agree with the route we took and not bringing our catch to weigh in I still think this is one of the best Cozumel charters. Going with Chichi’s charters for two days made me really wish I had gone all 3 days with this group.

We had a great time fishing!  We are a family of 5 and even our youngest (6 yrs.) enjoyed being out on the boat. The captain made us some incredible ceviche for lunch.  We caught a total of 5 fish which was plenty for us to make a dinner.  Both the captain and first mate were great with the kids and tried their absolute best to make sure we were having a good time.  If you’re looking to fish for a bit while in the Cozumel area I would definitely check into this!

Booked an 8 hr Fish/Snorkel Trip w/ AquaAdventures.  The owner (Pedro) was very accommodating.  Exchanged several emails regarding our trip and agenda.  Pedro even helped with suggestions for other activities as this was my first trip to Cozumel.

Date of trip arrived and we were met immediately outside our resort at planned pick-up time.  Crew was very helpful and made every effort to make our day enjoyable.  We started off slow but the first mate continued to work to find the right bait/lure combination as the captain searched for fish.  Soon we were lulling in several Mahi until we decided we had our fill of fishing.

Myself and my two teenagers then went to snorkeling.  We started at Columbia Reef which was beautiful and amazing.  Lunch was provided which included some freshly made Civiche from our catch,  Again, the crew made every effort to provide a great meal.  The boat was well stocked with food, drink, fresh fruit and snacks.  the fresh civiche was a great compliment to the day.

I would highly recommend AquaAdventures for these type of excursions.  They also have a dive shop which I hope to take advantage of on our next trip.

we have never been on a fishing trip before but thanks Victor we want to go over and over again! He made our experience the best one imaginable. He treated us like family and we can’t wait to book another trip with him as our captain!!

Had an amazing trip!!!! Weather was beautiful!!!! Music was lively and the energy was on spot!!! We caught 5 awesome Mahi Mahi!! Our Captain even fixed up some fresh Ceviche and Guacamole!!! So delicious!!! Plenty of snack and drinks and even fresh cut fruit!!! Well worth the money!! Memories made!! Will definitely be back!!
