Clean boat, great gear, got us on fish. We had a great time.

To risk $975 and only one of us catching a tiny yearling wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t pay half that again. Sandra was great! But the way these trips are priced due to demand makes them far from worth it in the likely event you catch little to nothing.

What an amazing fishing trip today with Sandra! It was two adults and one 8 year old. Easy to find boat after a refreshing walk from our cruise ship. Captain Sandra was so wonderful! Sandra had so much equipment and got us out and fishing fast. We got our early and because of that, maxed out the quota of 24!!! Salmon before 10 am. Sandra had great snacks and drinks, and made the day so much fun. She’s a local with lots of great info- we had a great lunch after her recommendation too. She took us to the processor to help get our fish shipped home.

I can’t recommend this enough!! My fiancé and I had an amazing fishing trip with Captain Sandra on the Scarlet Grace. It was just the two of us who booked for a half day and Captain Sandra was nice enough to let us fish a little longer than we’d originally booked to try to catch a monster king. We were fishing at an odd time due to our cruise ship schedule so didn’t catch any monsters big enough to send home. We did catch TONS (too many to count by memory) of medium to small sized kings that we would have kept to eat if we were staying in town. We appreciated how tenacious Captain Sandra was in her pursuit to try to get us some huge fish, even though we were 100% satisfied with our experience and all we caught.  We loved chatting with Captain Sandra in between catches- she was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and fishing, as well as the perfect balance between professional but friendly and fun to talk to about really anything. Like I said, she let us gosh right up until we had to leave and even dropped us off right at our cruise ship. We were so pleased we purchased a Chick Charters T Shirt and Hoodie before we left to support her business. We will definitely recommend Chick Charters and Captain Sandra to any friends visiting Ketchikan and hope to be back again ourselves to check out one of her other tours. Thanks Captain Sandra!
