My husband and I were on our honeymoon and went out for 2 half-day trips. My hubby is a “hard-core” fisherman and fish snob. I am the opposite. We both had a great time. He was able to land a sail fish and we both got lots of yellow tail. Second day he got a nice rooster fish and I brought in a red snapper that the crew filleted and we took to the resort for dinner.
Overall there weren’t a ton of fish biting but Elberto and Eduardo were awesome guides and they took us all over looking for the fish.
They whipped up delicious ceviche on the boat from the fish that we caught and had water, beer, and sodas all day. We fished from 0700-1300 on the first day and until 1200 on the second day.
We would definitely go out with these guys again on another trip.

Our trip was great! We caught 3 tuna and 1 jackfish. The Jack was 30 pounds, the tuna were smaller. We went snorkeling as well at a local spot and saw some pufferfish and other small fish. Tour guides served us ceviche with the fresh tuna we caught and everyone on the boat loved it. We took advantage of the beer, soda and water that was provided. This was our first time fishing on a boat like this and everyone in our group had a great time.

This was an amazing fishing day. We’ve done fishing charters in Hawaii, Florida and now Costa Rica. This charter in Costa Rica has got to be one of the best. The guys on the boat were amazing and worked hard for us. We stayed busy catching fish the whole time. Towards the end the captain asked if we wanted to go snorkeling or snorkeling for lobsters. We went snorkeling for lobsters and it was awesome. The water wasn’t super clean for seeing the lobsters but it was so much fun.
I would recommend this charter for anyone wanting to have a relaxing day.

We boarded at 8:00, were catching fish by 8:30, amazing fruit plate at 9:00, beers and fresh tuna ceviche at 10:00, and snorkeling a coral reef at 11:00. This halfday experience was amazing! We highly recommend. One note - we expected to be going out with Jose, who was
double booked, so we ended up with Eduardo and Alberto. This was no problem for us as they were skilled, kind, and hospitable. We really enjoyed our time with them! We speak Spanish; their English was limited. And one more note - no toilet on the boat.

This was our first time off shore fishing and we had a wonderful time. The crew were great at finding the best spot and everyone was able to catch some fish. The ceviche made on the boat with the tuna we had just caught was the cherry on top of a great experience. They even took us to an area for snorkeling. Highly recommend!
