We took a 1/2 day morning trip with Capt Matt.  The primary reason was for my two kids to get out on the water and hopefully catch a few fish.  Capt Matt was great with my 10 and 7 year old, and helped them understand what to look for when I fish was poking at the bait.  The kids missed a couple bites, but we ended up pulling up a very large black drum and a small/juvenile bull shark!  The kids were pumped.  All in all, a very good trip, and we’ll definitely fish with Capt. Matt again.

Captain Matthew gave us an exceptional day on the water. He was very communicative from the start, keeping us updated about possible weather contingencies and giving very detailed instructions to make sure we had a clear picture of everything heading into the trip. Our family booked this fishing trip during our family vacation in Galveston.  Most of us had never been fishing out on the water before. As Mother Nature runs on her own timetable, we were hit with strong rains for our entire trip. Captain Matt with Nautilus Charters gave us the perfect experience.  We had to push back our trip twice and he was extremely flexible and honest with us about the weather so we could have a great experience.  He was very personable and gave some great tips on catching fish.  We are already looking forward to the next time.
