Wow, first we thought the trip was a cancel due to high winds, then last minute got the green light to fish on the Black Marlin.  Capt Manuel and Kevin were awesome.  They were humble and very open with their communication. We knew what they plan was at every moment. We hooked 6 Bonito’s right out of the shoot and then a Dorado! (Dinner) The water today was somewhat rough, but very fishy.  We hooked out first fish and it was a shark.  Wow what a good fight.  Was great to catch and release this monster.  Then we hooked a Marlin and it broke off the line before we could really fight it.  After that we hooked two more sharks and one was a Hammer Head!  Unreal fight!.  Both sharks literally bit our leaders right off after about 20 mins of fighting.  The fishing slowed down, but the crew was determined to catch a Marlin.  About an hour before going in we landed and released a striped marlin.  First Shark for me ever and a good day of a mix bag of fish.  Kevin was awesome with communication the whole time and had a great attitude. I love the grit of these guys! Thanks

Well after a great day one Captain Manuel and his crew Kevin and brother Manuel put us on fish all day. We landed 3 striped marlin, 8 mahi, 8 bonito, and had a tuna at the boat but out of nowhere a sea lion came and grabbed it. We had 4 other marlin hook ups but they spit the hook. Spotted at least another 8-10. It was an amazing day. Never had I imagined seeing so many. Manuels boat control is perfect while fighting marlin. All 3 worked their buts off for us. Just can’t say enough good things about Manuel and crew. So much appreciated fishing with them for 2 days. Will be booking with them again. Muchos gracias!

Last year we came out and fished 3 days with a different company. Didn’t achieve our goal of catching a marlin. I did my research and found Manuel and The Black Marlin. Manuel knows Marlin and knows how to catch them. Perfect boat control while fighting them. Deckhand Kevin was great. Great boat as well. Equipment is all top notch. Do yourselves a favour and book these guys. We caught 2 large striped marlin. Seen another on the surface and threw live bait but it wasn’t interested. Had a sailfish bite and lost a good mahi at the end. We fish again with them tomorrow. Can’t wait!

We went out with the Black Marlin on Monday and Wednesday. Manuel (captain) and Kevin (1st mate) were awesome. They both worked hard to put us fish. Monday we did ok but it wasn’t for the lack of trying, the fish just weren’t biting we did catch some but a lot of other boats didn’t get anything on Monday. Wednesday we limited out. All Spanish mackerel. They keep the boat immaculate. I would highly recommend this boat.

Manuel and Kevin were new to us (came recommended) and they surpassed all expectations. The boat was clean and well appointed. We fished in late March so did not know what to expect, but nearly 40 fish into the day we finally called it quits. For us the rooster fish were a new experience and what a blast! Kevin let us set our own hooks and helped safely land our catches, which we chose to release. Grateful for a very good day.
