My dad has always talked about deep sea fishing and so we finally took him. It was an amazing time, the staff catered to us and asked us what beer, food, and drinks we wanted on the boat before the excursion so they had it on hand (charged for the price of the items). We set out at 12, we saw 4 marlin total and caught and released 2. Saw dolphins and turtles as well and you see the arch mid day and at sunset (fall months). The staff was patient and even took out the marlin safely to let us hold for pics before releasing. This was really nice of them because the marlin were adult size and very heavy. Would do again.

This boat and their office is 3 minutes from the cruise ship tender dock and is very clearly signed!  Public restrooms are right next door.  The Captain, mate and boat were ready to go, picking up baitfish from a small boat on the way out of the harbor.  Within an hour Capt Francesco guided us to a 9 foot Black Marlin that went aerial b4 landing in the boat!  While 1st mate Omar expertly prepped another baitfish we landed a nice Mahi-Mahi b4 chasing tuna with all the other boats.  Leaving the other boats behind, Capt put us on another Marlin and after a half hour and numerous leaps the 10 foot Striped Marlin was at the boat🎣  After a few quick pictures it was released as we’d all agreed.  My wife and I are experienced fishermen around the globe and this was absolutely fantastic.  After getting skunked at Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan we were very happy to fish with these new friends!  We’re already planning our return to fish with them for big Tuna.  Many Thanks To you all 🎣

The office opened up a little late, maybe 7 minutes, not a big deal (to us). They got us processed and down to the boat quickly. Once we boarded, we stopped just outside the harbor for ice and bait, and off we went.

By 7 am, we had two Dorado mahi mahi on board! Great start to a truly awesome day. We ended up with a 170 lb marlin and several mahi mahi.

We had a great time as a family, truly unforgettable experience. Francisco and Omar were awesome. From guidance to fun conversation, they were fun to hang out with!

Went fishing with Francisco and Omar on 9/11/25.  Had a fantastic time caught 5 fish. 3 Tuna, 1 Mahi Mahi and 1 Sailfin.  Omar worked very hard changing lures if one type didn’t work and baiting. When the fish hooked he was on hand to land it. The box lunch consisted of a sub sandwich, chips, burrito and apple. Beer and water were plentiful.
On returning to port they set us up to send fish home and where to go to get some of our catch cooked for us. Everything was taken care of in a professional way.

We couldn’t commend El Budster and our crew—captain Francisco and first mate Omar—more. Within the first hour after we set off, we landed three mahi-mahi and shortly thereafter, a 140 or so pound marlin.  The boat was immaculate, and Omar made sure to clean it constantly during our trip. We were also fortunate to see humpback whales and dolphin breaching alongside our boat. We could not have asked for a more professional, kinder, or better crew. We highly recommend El Budster to anyone looking for a fishing adventure in Cabo.
