Capt. Joe is a cool guy.  My buddy and I went on an 8hr trip and caught several species with plenty of keepers.  Due to the weather, we weren’t able to do an offshore trip as planned so It wasn’t the best fishing day I’ve ever had, but Joe worked hard to make sure we had a great time and stayed in the action despite the fish not biting as well as we would’ve liked.  Joe is patient and laid back and you can tell the he really loves fishing.  It’s not just a business, but something he puts his heart and soul into.  He’s got cool gadgets and a clear knowledge of the area’s fishing.  I look forward to going out again with Set Em Up and taking my 8 year old son next time.  I would recommend Set Em Up for beginners or experienced anglers.

We did a 4 hour charter with Captain Joe that was originally supposed to be an Off Shore trip but due to weather, we switched to In Shore and still had a great time! Captain Joe was great with communicating with us before hand regarding the weather and our options! Once on board, he was as hands on helping us as we wanted him to be. He was super knowledgeable about the area and what we were fishing for, and very quick in helping us bring in our fish even when multiple of us had bites at a time. Would definitely recommend Captain Joe and we’ll definitely be booking with him again!

We had the best time. Captain Joe truly provided an unforgettable experience for our entire family. From the start, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate he was about fishing. Captain Joe was patient, helpful, and knew exactly when to offer advice and when to step back, allowing our boys to learn and grow their love for fishing. He even took the time to teach our sons how to clean the fish and made sure everything was taken care of. To top it off, he recommended a local restaurant that would cook our day’s catch. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Captain Joe and his fishing charter! I took my adult kids out for a day on the water, and despite less-than-ideal weather, Captain Joe delivered an outstanding trip. He knew exactly where to go to find the fish, and his knowledge of the area was truly impressive. Captain Joe made us all feel comfortable, provided plenty of helpful tips, and was patient and engaging throughout the day. We had a fantastic time and made some great memories together. Everything about this fishing trip was fantastic- start to finish! First of all, the care that Captain Joe put into the description is why we picked him to begin with. The day before, he gave us an honest account of where we would have the best luck catching fish. He definitely cares about his clients catching fish and being happy! We knowingly went against his advice and went offshore and oh boy did we make the right choice! Of the 4 of us, only 1 of us had ever been ocean fishing so we wanted to try! We caught fish right away!! We know that doesn’t always happen, but from knowing the bait fish that they want to the spot to fish, Captain Joe was ON IT! Would recommend him to ANYONE!! We will definitely be back!
