the weather initially looked a little rough, so Capt Mike postponed the trip until the PM.  Good decision. The weather cleared and made for comfortable fishing.  Alot of black sea bass below the size limit, but fun to catch and plenty of them.  No boredom here!  Mike made sure that we understood the fishing technique for successful bottom fishing which led to an enjoyable outing.

Captain Mike runs a first class trip. I wanted to give my two grandsons, ages 13 and 18, a really great time with wonderful memories and Captain Mike made it happen. He is great with the kids. He teaches but he doesn’t micromanage. He is so positive. He is also extremely knowable about all the necessary pieces to make a fantastic trip. We caught so many fish!  We will do this again!

Captain Mike was a great guide - In 3 hours, my son and I caught about 50 fish. He was patient and happy to teach kids. Would highly recommend and look forward to the next trip!

It was my first time booking with Captain Mike.  My 11yr and I had a sensational time! This will be a life long memory for my son and I.  I’d give 10 stars if that was available.

Capt. Mike took our two family members fishing who were visiting Niantic from St. Louis. The day turned out to be very windy and Capt. Mike tried his best to make the trip fun and enjoyable but the weather didn’t cooperate. The guys caught a few fish and had a good time. Next time, hopefully they will have better weather!
