Captain Lance was amazing on our fishing trip! We had our 8 year old son with us and he made sure everyone was safe and had a great time. He even kept an eye on the little guy so momma could fish as well!! We will be choosing Outcast again during our next visit, no doubt about it.

We had our fished cleaned and cooked at the Marina afterwards, it was as fresh as you can get!! Definitely recommended.

We had a great 1/2 day trip on Outcast. Captain Lance was super and made sure we had a great day on the water.  He put us on Red Drum within 15 minutes of leaving the dock. Then we moved on to surface casting for hard fighting Bluefish. Lance was informative, patient and provided just the right amount of information and instruction based on our different experience levels. And he’s a great guy!  Highly recommend!

We booked a half day with Captain Lance during our first visit to the Outer Banks.

Although we didn’t catch any fish, it was the most beautiful and relaxing day on the water.  Temp was 70 ish and sunny.  We rotated up to the Fly Bridge to get a better look for fish, learn about the area (tide, lighthouses, hunting cabins on islands), and just seeing the inshore area. 

Lance is knowledgeable about the area and worked in tandem with other fishing boat Captains to make it the best experience for all the boaters out there.

We booked a half day trip to go shark fishing. The weather was crazy from the hurricane so the captain called us and asked if we wanted to reschedule or stay in the sound. We opted to stay in the sound and went on as planned. When we arrived, the boat was spotless clean! The captain greeted us and we headed out to catch some fish. He was very knowledgeable and schooled us on the different types of fish that frequent the area. He had everything ready to go when we first anchored, he baited the hooks, cast them out, and we waited. Listened to some good music, had some good conversations, and beautiful views. No bites. So after a bit, we trolled around some shallow areas, still, no bites. We cast a bunch of other areas but not a single bite that day. Even though we didn’t catch a fish, we had a great time and will absolutely be back and book with Outcast again. Thanks for the awesome time!

Absolutely awesome trip with Captain Lance!  We had a great time even though the trigger fish gave us the early “closed mouth” reception. Captain Lance stayed with it the whole time and kept mixing and matching until we scored big on some beautiful drum!  My son was having an absolute blast and Captain Lance walked him very patiently through the rigors of ocean fishing to the success of landing a trigger fish, remora, a few Black Sea bass and two keeper drum. It’s about 8 hours later and he’s still talking about it!  Overall it was an amazing trip with a great Captain that fed 10 people tonight on delicious drum and trigger fish. We will definitely be booking again on our future trips to OBX!
