Great Inshore Trip

1/2 day PM 4HR Inshore/Inlet4 adults

We had a great 1/2 day trip on Outcast. Captain Lance was super and made sure we had a great day on the water. He put us on Red Drum within 15 minutes of leaving the dock. Then we moved on to surface casting for hard fighting Bluefish. Lance was informative, patient and provided just the right amount of information and instruction based on our different experience levels. And he’s a great guy! Highly recommend!

    Thank you Outcast Fishing Charters!!!

    We had such an awesome experience! Captain Lance was great from the very beginning. He was quick to respond to all of my questions and even opened up an additional time slot for us after the one we were looking at sold out just minutes before we were ready to book. We really appreciated him going out of his way to make it work for us! Captain Mike took us out and was fantastic! We started out fishing in the ocean and caught 16 fish total, including Spanish mackerel and bluefish! 🎣 After that, Captain Mike suggested heading into the sound to try for red drum. We had plenty of hits but unfortunately weren’t lucky enough to land one. My husband DID manage to catch a manta ray, though, which was such a cool and unexpected experience! Captain Mike worked hard the entire trip to keep us on the fish and made sure we had a great time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly hospitable. We are so grateful for all of his hard work and for making this such a memorable experience for our family. We would absolutely recommend Captain Lance and Captain Mike and would definitely book with them again!

    Nice Day on the Water

    I booked Outcast for my 10 yr old grandson first inshore fishing trip in a boat. Capt Mike Midgett ran the boat and tried his best to put us on fish in the Roanoke Sound. As a local growing up on Roanoke Island, Capt Mike knew the area well and where to find big Red Drum and Bluefish. Unfortunately it was a tough day of fishing for all the charters but we enjoyed being on the water and learning from Capt Mike. My grandson had a thrill fighting a big drum and Bluefish but lost them both at the boat. He had a great day repeating back to me the old saying "it's called fishing not catching". We would definitely go fishing with Capt Mike Midgett again

    Slaying in the OBX

    Full day sight casting COBIA • 3 adults

    I booked a trip for Cobia w/Capt. Lance Luke. Even though it wasn't likely to find them. He did all he could to put us in the right area. Lots of Local knowledge. Great Capt. You can tell hes a fishing nut too. He made sure we took some fish home. To fill are Refrigerators. Will Definitely booking him in the future.

    Capt Mike worked hard to find us fish. Wind made for a bumpy ride out, but we caught several blue fish and a fat 37 inch blue before returning. Very good day
