This trip was the best! When I was trying to choose who to go out with it was very difficult! There’s so many companies and so many reviews.  I spent half of the day going through them. Ultimately I chose to go with Sal and I’m so so happy that I did. We were coming for just the weekend and just one day of fishing and I didn’t want to screw up by picking the wrong company.. Overall it was a fantastic experience. The conversation was great the music was fun. We got amazing photos and caught a lot of fish. We had a local restaurant cook them for us for dinner and it was amazing. Overall it was a wonderful time and I would highly recommend Sal. When we come back we are going to book with him.  If you choose to fish with Sal he will not be disappointed.

Our family had an amazing afternoon of fishing. Captain Sal was great and super responsive when we booked, giving great recommendations and adjusting the trip to fit our goals. His son Captain Dan took us out, and was an awesome guide. We ended up in a spot where mackerel were literally jumping out of the water, and adjusted the tackle so we could land several of these beauties. He was absolutely amazing with our kids, our daughter was getting a little frustrated and he took the time to give her some extra tips and she actually landed the biggest fish of the day! I highly recommend booking with Captain Sal, and hope you are lucky enough to get Captain Dan as your guide.

First of all I love these guys.  Chase was so awesome and worked so hard to make sure we had a great trip.  Great guy and great experience.  My son had an awesome time.  Chase was patient with me-the mom- and all my questions.  The boat was great and fast and we both felt super safe and well taken care of the whole time.  Really can’t say enough about Hooligan and how much they cared about making our trip memorable and awesome!!! And also- I had a major issue with my card and they were so gracious and understanding and I can’t thank them enough for absolutely everything.    Five million stars. My husband, my dad, and I booked a 3 hour shark fishing trip with Captain Chase on the last day of our vacation. We were all new to salt water fishing so we didn’t really have too many expectations going into this trip, however, Chase by far and away exceeded any expectation we did have! He was very knowledgeable and had a great laid back “Florida keys” attitude which made for a really fun afternoon. Chase’s main focus the entire time was making sure we were enjoying ourselves and got us to a great spot where we each got to reel in a shark! We also got to fish for some “dinner fish” like mangrove snappers and Chase later fillet them for us! I would 100% recommend booking with Chase at Hooligans charter and we will definitely be back to fish with him again!

Very nice fishing trip, the captain is a very nice man, being from Minnesota and are 2nd trip my wife and son learned allot about Islamorada, Captain Sal was very knowledgeable and experienced, He put us on the bite with the first cast. Very fun trip, Thanks again Cap..
