The cold front didnt stop Captain Sal from offering us a great day of fishing in Islamorada. We pivoted and spent the day in the Gulf due to the high winds and had a ball reeling in a bunch of snapper, mackerel and even a permit. Caring and knowledgeable captain. Job well done sir!
We had amazing 4 hours with captain Sol!! I went with my son (15 years old) and a friend. We were in 2 spots and catch more than 15 fish!! Captain Sol was very generous with us and really help us with everything, and you can tell that he do it with all is heart.
Great trip! Captain Sal is great for all ages and levels of fishing experience. We maxed out on yellowtail and had a lot of fun catching and releasing blue runners and false albacore. definitely recommend! Very easy to deal with and get along with as well.

We had a great time fishing with Hooligan Sportfishing.ย Captain Dan (Captain Salโs son) was excellent.ย He checked in with every member of our group often and provided guidance to help us have the best experience possible.ย We could barely cast our line into the water before we were all catching fish!ย He even provided tips for cooking the fish that we caught.ย We would be happy to fish with Captain Dan again in the future.
We didnt get into our target species (sailfish/mahi), but we still caught quite a few fish. it was a great first time experience on the Caribbean waters, and Captain Sal was great to work with.
