Amazing experience all around the board. Highly recommend this trip for anyone and their family. All of expectations were met above and beyond what was expected. The captain took care of everything and is a great fisherman himself. He had knowledge of the area and knew exactly where to go.

Best charter I’ve been fishing with. Super friendly ,professional and is fishing game is on another level.He showed me some new techniques . He really knows every spots on the lake.no matter if it’s your first time fishing or your a well experiment angler you will enjoy your trip .

My family of six booked 2 boats (one with Rene Him and one with Gerardo Duran) to go fishing on Lake Gatun for the morning of December 27.  And then, blame it on Covid, our flight was canceled.  While both captains were booked mornings for the remainder of the time we had, they worked together to make sure we were able to enjoy a fabulous fishing trip.  One boat was back from their morning trip early and took my wife kids and granddaughter out.  They visited Monkey Island where they called the monkeys down from the canopy and they ate out of our hands.  Then they spent a few minutes fishing waiting for the second boat.  I waited at the marina for the second boat and we raced to Monkey Island where we were able to transfer and get a more manageable number on each boat.  For the rest of the day peacock bass watch out.  We caught and released so many fish no one could remember how many they had caught.  Our primary goal was fast action for the 8 year old so we mostly used live bait and caught one to two pound fish.  There were some bigger ones though.  I used a popping plug a little and it was a thrill to see the bass explode on it on the surface.  My wife, who said she did not want to fish, watched for about a half hour and decided she needed to join the action.  She caught a lot of fish and said she had a great time.

Gerardo was a blast very knowledgeable and put us on fish right away. Three of the four us had little fishing experience and one had never held a pole before. Gerardo was patient and made sure everyone had the help they needed to catch fish. To see a fish explode at a top water lure was absolutely awesome. The lunch was great as well. I highly recommend Gerardo and hope to see him the next time I find myself in Panama

Due to full moon, it went difficult but we caught prenty
of peacok bass at the end!!
