The Captian was nice and welcoming, but knowledge base and preparedness lacked there of. The address on their website is not an accurate description of where you go out of. I was told the morning before we were supposed to go out that they needed to move our start fishing time from 7am to 11:30am due to better fishing conditions. When we showed up that was not the case they just had over booked their time slots & lied about the better fishing conditions. I was also lead to believe we were going to be on a 33’ contender and when we showed up it was a 28’ pursuit. We trolled for 2 hours in the same spot not switching up tactics or positions with no luck. We set out to bottom fish since trolling was not going well and none of the poles were set up or ready. The captain spent a solid 30 mins working on rigging one pole up to bottom fish while there was only one other pole in the water. By the time he got the poles figured out we had drifted too far off the wrecks and were not around any structure. I paid 800 dollars for skill expertise as well as good fishing locations. Unfortunately none of that is what we got to experience. I would definitely not recommend this charter to anyone and they need to rethink there business practices.

Didn’t catch any of the targeted fish so the captain put us on a few tiny fish so that we would atleast catch something. The ocean conditions were terrible that day and before the trip the receptionist called me and told me the weather would be better in the morning so I should move my trip up to the early morning instead. So I did and the truth was because they ended up booking another charter after mine. Which they wouldn’t have been able to do if I stuck to my original time. Not only that they tried to get me to upgrade my trip to an offshore trip instead of my original inshore trip knowing full well that the ocean was acting up that day. Another boat actually went out to the ocean that morning and was back in 30 minutes because the weather conditions were so bad. Also the captain doubled as the deckhand and was busy trying to control the boat most of the time so I had to constantly bait my own hook if I wanted to keep fishing. Then a line got broken off one of the poles and we had to wait for him to re-tie it while trying to control the boat at the same time. So my wife was sitting there not able to fish for almost 30 minutes. That’s why you have pre-tied rigs so when that happens you can quickly tie on a new one and get back to fishing because that’s what I’m paying for is to fish not to sit and wait on a boat. Then the captain fed the birds which attracted them to the boat so when we were supposed to be trolling a line back to shore one of the birds ended up eating the bait off the hook. So that was a missed fishing opportunity. Also because they ended up booking another charter directly after mine we had to rush back to shore so he could pick up the next suckers that booked with this company. Total time actually fishing was under 2 hours and I paid for 3. Other charters I’ve been on don’t count the time it takes to get to and from the fishing spot. They don’t start your time until your poles are in the water so they can maximize your fishing time and actually give you what you pay for. This company is about getting paid and moving on to the next sucker.
